Banana cupcakes

1. Heat the oven to 180°C (355°F) and line a 12-hole muffin tin.
2. Beat the butter and sugar until pale, then beat in the eggs and the banana.
3. Fold in the flour and bicarbonate of soda with the milk and divide between the cases.
4. Bake for 18–20 minutes. Cool completely.
5. Beat the browned butter with the icing sugar and milk and pipe onto the cupcakes.
