Banana cake with cream cheese frosting

1. Heat the oven to 180°C (355°F) and line a 23 × 33 cm (9 × 13 in) tin.
2. Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy, then beat in the eggs and vanilla, then the bananas.
3. Fold in the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt, alternating with the buttermilk.
4. Bake for 30–35 minutes until a skewer comes out clean. Cool completely.
5. Beat the frosting ingredients until smooth and spread over the cake.
